Arp 309 (NGC 942 & 943)

Arp 309 is a member of the Double Galaxies class. The Atlas note says
"peculiar absorption ring, possibly broken". I'm not able to see the
absorption structure in my image. The N galaxy is NGC 943 and the S one is
NGC 942. Note the faint tail pointing N from NGC 943 and the stubby tail
to the S of NGC 942.
