Arp 256 is the last member of the class Appearance of Fission. The larger
member to the north is MCG -2-1-52 and the one to the south is MCG -2-1-51.The Atlas
note says "resolution into knots. Note small ragged galaxy W of pair.
Radio source M100-10 is 7' S". My image scale is just too small to show
much of that, even in the 2X detail, but it does show the broad tail heading
west from the southern galaxy better than the Atlas image.
