Arp 241

Arp 241 is another in the Appearance of Fission class, and there is no Atlas
note. The pair is also cataloged as UGC 9425. This field has an
amazing density of background galaxies. Almost the entire field except for
the northeast corner falls within at least one Abell Galaxy Cluster, and the
field south and west from a point just northeast of Arp 241 consists of two
overlapping clusters, 1941 and 1944.
