Arp 221

Arp 221 is the galaxy group left of center, SSW of the bright star. It's
the first member of the class Amorphous Spiral Arms. The Atlas notes say
"faint diffuse material to south, bright filament to hard image on NW side of
nucleus". For some reason, the galaxy just west of the primary is missing
in Megastar. There is not much well-defined structure in this image or the
Atlas image. It is, as the class implies, "amorphous".
