Arp 20 is in Dr. Arp's class of Three-Armed
Spirals.
I really don't see three arms in my image. They are there but blend
together making what looks like one continuous loop. The Atlas image makes
the fact that they are separate more obvious. The double nucleus can be seen
by close inspection of the positive image.
Arp 20 is also identified as UGC 3014. Note
the LSB galaxy in the SE corner of the field. NED lists no galaxies at
this position, only a radio source about 2' further SSE. Guess I need to
start a Miller Anonymous catalog and duke it out with Larry Mitchell.
