Arp 21 is the last of the Three-Armed Spirals. It is certainly an
unusual and complex galaxy but I have a difficult time tracing out three arms,
even in the 3x detail image.
This is yet another field packed with small galaxies. The one about 5'
south of Arp 21 is MCG +5-26-48 and the one right at the east edge of the field
is UGC 6152. The others are either Mitchell
Anonymous galaxies or named only in less familiar catalogs. The little
double galaxy about 4' northeast of Arp 21 is especially interesting. It
is in the 2MASX catalog but there is very little information.
