Arp 183

	Arp 183 is a member of the Narrow Filaments class.  This field contains two Arps, 183 east and south of the center and 36 west and slightly north of center.  Arp 183 is also cataloged as UGC 8560 while Arp 36 is UGC 8548. The Atlas note is "three faint patches constitute third arm or filament".  The third arm referred to in the Atlas note can be seen as the tiny projection exiting the core on the west side, slightly above the long, almost straight, arm on the south side of the galaxy.
