Arp 96

Arp 96 is in the class Spirals with Elliptical Galaxy companions on Arms.
The Atlas note was "faint diffuse counter arm, and arm leading to companion".
The N spiral is MCG+14-4-10 and the E galaxy to the south is MCG+14-4-11.
Notice the extended arms, especially in the negative image. The galaxy
near the N edge of the field on the E side is CGCG 370-4B.
Arp 96 is the northernmost of the Arps, at 86 deg. 36 min. You can observe it any time of year.
