arp 91 is the last in the class spirals with large hsb companions on arms.
the atlas note says "broad pec[uliar] arm to comp., then absorption: faint
extension from comp.". i believe that ngc 5954 -- the member of the pair
closest to the ne corner -- is the primary and that ngc 5954 is the companion.
but that is debatable. the nearly edge-on spiral in the sw corner is ngc
5951.
this image was acquired with a borrowed mx916
camera so i got a larger field. ngc 5951 would not have fallen within my
mx716 field.
