I was fighting thin clouds during the early exposures but it cleared nicely.
Arp 9 (NGC 2523)

This unusual barred spiral is in Arp's Split Arm
class. The
split arm is quite obvious. The Atlas note is "bifurcated arm does not
start at end of bar". The bright edge-on galaxy near
west edge of the field is NGC 2523B. The very strange little galaxy
in the NW corner is UGC 4279.
