arp 84 is also known as "the heron". the name fits perfectly, right down
to the fish that has just been speared. the primary is ngc 5395 and the
companion is ngc 5394; the "fish" is mitchell anonymous 1358+3727. arp 84
is another member of the class spirals with large hsb companions on arms.
the atlas notes say "arcs of high s. b. around nucleus of companion".
