arp 34 (ngc 4613, 14, & 15)
when the star is included, arp 34 looks like the
trapezium. the class is integral sign and ngc 4615, the easternmost of the
three, puts it in this class. there are several more very tiny galaxies
within the trapezoid. in fact, no more than three, and probably only one,
of the objects inside it are stars. in fairly deep images away from the galactic
plane, most of the objects seen are background galaxies, not foreground stars.
