Arp 307 (NGC 2872, 73, & 74)
Arp 307 is another member of the Double Galaxies class. The Atlas note
says "possibly not interacting". The large E-type galaxy is NGC 2872, the
SE spiral is NGC 2874, and the smallest of the group, to the NE, is NGC 2873.
It looks like there is a galaxy cluster occupying the entire SW half of the
field but NED does not list anything except a triple galaxy 1.2' S of the bright
star in the NW corner.
