Arp 292 (IC 575)

Arp 292 is in the class Double Galaxies with Wind Effects. The Atlas note
is "edge-on Sa, some
indication of absorption streaming off edges". The primary is IC 575.
The small galaxy just SW is MCG-1-25-57 while the companion due N is in the
2MASX, APMUKS(BJ), and Mitchell Anonymous catalogs. The galaxy near the W
edge of the field is in these same three catalogs, while the larger one NE of Arp
292, near the meteor or satellite trail, is MCG-1-25-59. The galaxy at the
S edge of the field is IC 574.
