Arp 287 (NGC 2735 & A)

Arp 287 is the first representative of the class Double Galaxies with Wind
Effects. The Atlas note is "slanted parallel streamers off each edge of
main galaxy". The primary is NGC 2735 and the companion is NGC 2735A.
The patch of material just WSW of 2735 is considered a detached segment of that
galaxy, not a separate galaxy. The faint galaxy about 2.5' E of 2735A is
in the SDSS and Mitchell Anonymous catalogs.
