Arp 235 (NGC 14)

Arp 235 is another member of the class Appearance of Fission. The Atlas
note says "faint outer oval and resolution into stars". This image shows
both those impressions but, as noted for Arp 234, I don't think the resolution
is into stars. More likely, the apparent stars are star-forming regions or
possibly exceptionally bright clusters. The
2X detail image shows the resolution best.
