arp 205 is a member of the class material ejected from nuclei. the primary
is ngc 3448 and the companion to the west is mcg+9-19-52. there is a great
deal of fine structure in the companion that can be seen in the atlas image but is
not visible in mine, largely because of the huge difference in resolution.
there are jets or filaments exiting both ends of ngc 3448 and a straight
filament just n of the companion.
