Arp 201 is a member of the class Material Ejected from Nuclei. The Atlas
note says "VV connection between galaxies not seen here or on Survey prints".
VV refers to the Vorontsov-Velyaminov catalog, a Russian catalog of interacting
galaxies which Dr. Arp referred to often. The southern member of Arp 201
is UGC 224, while the northern is MCG+0-2-19. A number of the faint
background galaxies are in the APMUKS(BJ), an automated plate measuring catalog
from the U.K., but none appear to show up in any of the more frequently used
catalogs. It looks to me like there is a galaxy cluster north and east of
the bright star.
While my image is tiny and does not show a lot of
detail, it shows about everything seen in the Atlas image. The image is a
combination of two taken a year apart.
