arp 169 is in the class diffuse counter-tails. the atlas
note says "faint diffuse plumes coming away from two galaxies", and those can be
seen in my image. arp 169 is the pair a little to the northeast of center.
the upper member is ngc 7236 and the lower is ngc 7237. the diffuse galaxy
with the bright core, south of the center, is cgcg 428-57.
