arp 131 is the pair just northwest of center. it is a member of the class e-like galaxies perturbing spirals. the e member is mcg-3-8-25 and the spiral companion is mcg-3-8-26. all of the other bright galaxies in the field are mitchell anonymous. none of them are listed in any of the standard galaxy catalogs. |
