Arp 127 is in the class E-like Galaxies Perturbing Spirals. The spiral to
the north is NGC 191 and the early type to the south is IC 1563. The Atlas
note is "sharp absorption lanes over N side of perturbing galaxy". I can't
see them in my image or even on the scanned Atlas image. They were
probably lost in scanning the original plate to the digital image.
According to Kanipe and Webb, the bright object
in the SE quadrant of the primary may be a star or a galaxy, APMUKS(BJ)
B003628.87-091656.7. Click on the positive image to the left to see a full
size version of the field.
