Another member of the Split Arm group.
The Atlas note is "nucleus off center in ring". It is certainly an unusual
galaxy -- a ring, a strange condensation of the ring at one end, and two arms
that seem to sweep in opposite directions from the same origin. Arp 10 is
also cataloged as UGC 1775 and the nearly edge-on galaxy near the bottom of the
field is UGC 1774.
I decided to leave the meteor trail in the image,
even though it would have been easy to remove. I thought it added a little
drama. Ignore what seems to be a star right on the trail north of Arp 10.
It is a little cluster of hot pixels that I could not remove without deforming
the trail.
